Meyer Named Co-Player of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State’s Brooklyn Meyer posted a 30-point game Saturday afternoon, earning her a share of this week’s Kwik Star Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor.

The Jackrabbits picked up an 87-73 win over North Dakota in their lone game of the week with Meyer leading the scoring efforts. Meyer shot 7-for-11 from the field and was 8-for-9 from the free throw line en route to a team-best 30 points. She also added three rebounds and two blocks to her stat line against the Fighting Hawks.

Meyer shares this week’s award with Kansas City’s Alayna Contreras, who averaged 20.5 points over two games and scored 31 in the Roos’ win against Denver.
