Mitchell Baseball Association Board Members Charged for Failing to Immediately Report Alleged Crimes

The Pennington County States Attorney’s Office has charged Mitchell Baseball Association Board members for failing to immediately report alleged crimes.

43-year-old Luke Norden is charged with two counts of failure to report abuse or neglect of a child and two counts of misprision of a felony.

48-year-old Jeremy Borgan is charged with one count of failure to report abuse or neglect of a child.

Both are Mitchell School District employees.

Superintendent Joe Childs learned of the charges at the end of Tuesday night’s school board meeting.

The charges follow last week’s rape accusations against six team members. The alleged incidents happened this past summer in Pennington County.
