Mitchell Kernels boys golf moved up one spot after day one to finish eighth overall in the 2024 Class AA State Tournament at Cattail Crossing Golf Course in Watertown.
The Kernels shot 315 (+48) over two rounds to finish five shots behind Sioux Falls Lincoln for seventh place.
Asher Dannenbring shaved three shots off his opening round to shoot a 73 (+1) to finish in a three way tie for 20th individually.
Carter McCormick placed T31st with a two day total of +11. Marshall Widstrom tied for 49th at +16, while Everett Morrison was T53rd at +17.
Watertown won the team title with a 282 (-7), one shots better than Pierre and two shots better than third place Harrisburg.
