Tea, South Dakota – The Mitchell Kernels volleyball team dominated the Tea Area Titans in a three-set sweep Friday night, improving to 14-5 on the season. Mitchell, who has now won eight of their last nine matches, cruised to a 25-19, 25-17, 25-10 victory on the road.
The Kernels controlled the match from the outset as senior Addie Siemsen had a team-high eight kills along with 21 assists, nine digs, six aces and five blocks, while Nia Talley anchored the defense with 10 digs.
The Kernels now have just four regular season matches left. They will return home Tuesday to face Huron at 6:30 p.m. on KORN News Radio FM 101.3/AM 1490 and KORNRadio.com
