Mitchell Marlins girls hockey wrapped up the 2023-24 season with a third place finish at the state tournament after a 4-3 win on Sunday against Oahe.
Facing a 2-0 deficit after just seven minutes, Makenna Tronnes and Brynlee Sabers scored to tie the game at 2-2 less than 10 minutes later.
After a scoreless second period, Reese Amick gave Mitchell the lead 1:49 into the third period. One minute later, Livaya Mimmack would add an insurance goal to make it 4-2 Marlins.
Mitchell ends the season with a 11-5-1 record.
