The Pennington County State’s Attorney’s Office has received a report from the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) regarding the Mitchell Post 18 Legion baseball team.
The investigation involves allegations of sexual assault, with the primary incidents alleged to have occurred in Pennington County.
The DCI initiated the investigation on July 12, following serious complaints and the public nature of the case.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley confirmed the ongoing investigation but clarified that no formal charges have been filed against anyone involved at this time.
