
MITCHELL, S.D. – Mitchell High School graduate Olivia Prunty is one of two recipients of a one-thousand-dollar scholarship from the South Dakota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and Daktronics.
Prunty graduated with a 4.0 GPA at the top of her class and was a six-year varsity gymnastics letterwinner.
She was the 2024 state vault champion, earned multiple state gymnastics placings and National All-American honors, and was twice named an Elite Eight Athlete of the Year.
Prunty also was a HOSA state gold medalist and national qualifier.
She’ll attend Dakota Wesleyan University, where she’ll compete with the Cheer and Dance Team while pursuing a nursing degree.
