Rosenquist and Broughton Earn Weekly GPAC Women’s Basketball Awards

Sioux City, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s basketball players-of-the-week for contests played November 24-30, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week

Offensive – Rylee Rosenquist, Dakota Wesleyan University (Forward)

Rylee Rosenquist of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week.  Rosenquist, a senior from North Sioux City, South Dakota, had an impressive offensive showing in a 79-70 win over No. 9 Briar Cliff on the road. She put up a season-high 24 points, going 7-of-13 (53.8%) from the field and 10-11 (90.9%) from the free-throw line. She also had four rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Defensive – Avery Broughton, Dakota Wesleyan University (Guard)

Avery Broughton of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball defensive player-of-the-week.  Broughton, a junior from Corsica, South Dakota, grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds, with 11 coming on the defensive end in a 79-79 win over No. 9 Briar Cliff. She also had two blocks and recorded a double-double with 16 points, while converting at an impressive 85.7% clip from the field.
