South Dakota State travels to Austin, Texas Sunday to wrap up 2024 against the No. 6 Longhorns at the Moody Center. The teams are a combined 21-3 overall entering the weekend.
The Jackrabbits are 10-2 on the season with seven straight wins. SDSU has reached 10 non-conference victories since going 10-4 in the non-con during the 2017-18 season. The Jacks are coming off a three-game homestand that included a 15-point win over Northern Iowa.
Texas is 11-1 overall with its only loss coming to No. 10 Notre Dame on December 5. Since then, Texas has won four consecutive games with a 40.5 average margin of victory. The Longhorns are rated sixth in the latest AP and WBCA Coaches polls.

- South Dakota State wraps the 2024 portion of the schedule at No. 6 Texas Sunday afternoon in Austin. The Jacks are 2-1 against ranked opponents this season.

- Haleigh Timmer adds 13.3 points per game and set new career highs of 26 points and 11 rebounds within the last three games.
- Paige Meyer contributes 9.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game to go with team highs of 4.9 assists and 1.3 steals.
- SDSU averages 30.2 defensive rebounds per game, which ranks 14th in the country. Mesa Byom leads the Jacks in rebounding with 6.1 RPG, including 4.8 defensive RPG.
- SDSU is shooting better than 36 percent from the 3-point line on the year, ranking 30th in the nation. Mesa Byom and Haleigh Timmer are both better than 43 percent from deep this year.
