Top 30 for Meyerink as Final Rounds Loom

Ypsilanti, Mich. – Dakota Wesleyan University freshman standout Allison Meyerink continues to shine on the national stage, delivering a resilient performance in Round 2 of the NAIA Women’s Golf Championship. Allison carded a +3 round of 75 despite five three-putts, pushing her two-day total inside the top six individuals not on advancing teams—a critical benchmark that positions her to continue play through the final two rounds.

Currently tied for 27th place individually, Allison has demonstrated remarkable consistency and ball-striking, missing only four greens in regulation over the first 36 holes on one of the most challenging courses in the NAIA rotation. Her poised performance has placed her in elite company and added her name to the conversation among the tournament’s top performers.

With 18 holes still to play on both Thursday and Friday, she’s in a strong position to keep making moves up the leaderboard.

“The freshman continues to rise to the occasion and has hit some of the best shots of her career over these last couple days on the biggest stage, on a difficult golf course, against the NAIA’s best,” said Head Coach Jeff Meyerink.

The freshman phenom’s steady composure, precise ball striking, and confident play have distinguished her in a deep and highly competitive field stacked with the NAIA’s top talent.
