The University of Sioux Falls is set to unveil Jon Hart as the new director of athletics at a press conference on Friday, according to multiple sources to Sioux Falls Live.
Hart, a DWU graduate and an experienced athletic director, spent the last eight years at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell.
During his tenure, he oversaw a successful Tiger program at the NAIA level. Hart takes over from Pam Gohl, who left the position to join MSU-Moorhead’s athletic department.
Hart’s responsibilities at DWU included managing multiple aspects of intercollegiate teams, fundraising, and facility improvements. His leadership also led to notable athletic achievements, including national championships in track & field and women’s basketball.
Hart’s family ties to DWU and his experience make him a promising addition to the University of Sioux Falls.
