All-State guard Drew Norberg of Watertown announced his commitment to Dakota Wesleyan men’s basketball on Tuesday, via Twitter.
Norberg averaged 21.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and made 45 3-pointers as a senior this season for the Watertown Arrows.
Norberg was second in scoring average in Class AA, only behind Caden Hinker’s 22.2 points per game for Mitchell.
Watertown finished the 2021-22 season with a 6-15 record, securing the 14 seed in Class AA SoDak 16. The Arrows nearly pulled off a SoDak 16 upset, losing to 3-seed Sioux Falls Washington, 70-63 in overtime on March 5th.
Norberg was also a Class AA Honorable Mention All-State Football selection this past fall throwing for 2,125 yards with 18 touchdowns as the Watertown quarterback.
