The Farm Credit Council has joined a coalition of groups calling on Congress to put more focus on rural infrastructure.
The council, which is the national trade association representing Farm Credit institutions in Washington, partnered with the Rural Rebuild Coalition in making the request. The groups say more needs to be done to ensure that rural communities have access to clean and safe drinking water, secure and dependable surface transportation, and reliable and affordable power.
