Canada to remain a top importer of U.S. ethanol

The CEO of the U.S. Grains Council expects Canada to remain a top customer of U.S. ethanol.

Ryan LeGrand tells Brownfield the Canadian government has adopted a low-carbon fuel standard with ethanol at the center of the fuel mix.

“Many provinces up there are going to E10 and even E15 blends.”

And he says Canada’s domestic ethanol production is not projected to grow.

“So while their demand is growing, their production is not.
