Illinois field manager Abigail Peterson says improving soil health isn’t enough for farmers facing low commodity prices.
“Being able to measure what those economics are and if this a feasible option in their areas is how they are going to adopt it,” she says.
She tells brownfield the on-farm research helps farmers determine if soil health practices will also improve their bottom line.
