A central Iowa farmer is taking advantage of mild December weather.
Corey Hillebo of Polk City says he’s putting in strips this week.
“December 12th (and) we’re still making some fall strips to plant some soybeans into next spring. Mother Nature has granted us a beautiful fall all the way through harvest.”
He tells Brownfield conditions are dry.
“We have some streams and creeks around the area that I have never seen dry, and they are dried up.
