U.S. ethanol exports declined for a second consecutive month.
The Renewable Fuels Association says ethanol exports of 139 million gallons were down 7% from January, with Canada taking the top spot for the 35th month in a row. Demand from the United Kingdom and Colombia also saw month-to-month increases, while movement to India and the European Union fell sharply.
Brazil remained absent because of import tariffs on U.S. ethanol.
Exports of dried distillers grains with solubles were up 9% on the month at 986,337 tons, with Mexico leading the pack and taking in their second largest monthly volume on record.
