Farmer says crops are looking good

Southern Indiana Farmer Larry Rusch says crops are in decent shape despite variable weather conditions.

“It was dry until around the first of July when we received five to seven inches of rain,” he says. “I think there are some areas where the crops aren’t as good as others, but for the most part the crops look good. We’ll need some more beneficial weather to finish the crop out. Overall, the crops don’t look bad at all.”

He tells Brownfield it has been an interesting season.
