At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle were lower, feeders led the way down on the strength in corn. April live cattle closed $.50 lower at $141.42 and June lives closed $0.60 lower at one $137.70. March feeder cattle closed $2.30 lower at $157.72 and April feeder cattle closed $2.75 lower $162.
It was a quiet start to the week for direct cash cattle trade activity. Showlists this week are lower in Nebraska/Colorado, Kansas, and Texas.
