Hog futures bounce on technical support

At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live cattle ended the day mixed in a narrow trading range while there was support from wholesale values, the lack of direction from the cash trade added some pressure to prices.  Feeder cattle futures found support in the day’s weak move in corn.  June live cattle closed $.80 higher at $112.35 and August live cattle closed $.07 higher at $107.85.  August feeder cattle closed $.50 higher at $142.72 and September feeder cattle closed $.35 higher at $143.02.
