A group of lawmakers are asking the Biden administration to review the Environmental Protection Agency’s decision to allow year-round sales of E15 beginning in 2025.
During a press call Thursday, U.S. Congresswoman Ashley Hinson said a delayed implementation of the rule doesn’t make sense. “Our entire Iowa delegation is united on this in holding the EPA accountable for not only this delay, but also for the uncertainty that they are putting out there for Iowa producers and retailers.”
In a letter to EPA Administrator Michael Regan, Hinson and the rest of Iowa’s congressional delegation requested the agency to implement the rule no later than March 31st of this year.
