Wisconsin’s Acting State Veterinarian has been promoted. Ag Secretary Brad Pfaff officially named Dr. Darlene Konkle as State Veterinarian Monday.
Konkle
began her duties with the departure of Dr. Paul McGraw in June of 2018
Pfaff
says Konkle develops relationships with her colleagues in federal and state
agencies, as well as with groups representing our agricultural and small animal
constituencies. He’s also impressed by Konkle’s understanding of national and
international animal movement and her experience in animal disease response.”
