Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue has received a letter from more than 50 lawmakers and candidates supporting his efforts to help promote biofuels.
The letter commends Perdue’s efforts to, “combat special interests seeking to undercut homegrown biofuels and deprive farmers of a vital market for U.S. crops.”
The lawmakers say the Reid Vapor Pressure regulations restricting E15 are antiquated and a fix cannot come soon enough.
President Trump has announced support for lifting the RVP regulations, but EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt has not taken action yet.
