Missouri Congressman Emanuel Cleaver is seeking funds for more rural water towers in his western Missouri district to address drought challenges. State Senator Denny Hoskins says he met with Cleaver to discuss the plan, “I know he met with some farmers last week in Ray County and we’re just looking at anything that we can do to help out our farmers.”
Cleaver has asked Governor Mike Parson to support a community development block grant for the water towers.
