Miyamoto reflects on year as NASDA president

The president of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture is reflecting on his year of service.

Wyoming Department of Agriculture Director Doug Miyamoto tells Brownfield the association has made big strides in the area of international agriculture affairs. “We’ve made ourselves matter in that space of being able to talk about ag trade agreements and negotiations with Mexico, Canada, all around the world, trying to create better markets for ag products grown throughout the US.”

NASDA’s conference is annually held in the home state of its president and Miyamoto says this was the first time it’s ever taken place in Wyoming.
