More late-season, warmth & heat, generally drier pattern ahead for much of the Heartland

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures and near- or below normal rainfall across much of the country.  Cooler-than-normal conditions will be confined to the Pacific Northwest.

Meanwhile, wetter-than-normal weather should be limited to the nation’s northern tier, from the Pacific Northwest to Minnesota.
