MU Extension fans out to help with flood issues

The University of Missouri Extension is working with the

state and county governments to help with flood relief, which is focused right

now in northwest Missouri, “To make sure that we are providing the resources.

People need to know who to go to to talk to; how do we get people relocated. We

have people literally doing that right now in some of these communities.”

Marshall Stewart is Vice Chancellor of Extension & Engagement and tells Brownfield they have a program in place for emergencies like flooding, “We have a network that’s in place that goes to work and so people actually move from different parts of the state.
