South Dakota’s corn crop remains well behind in maturity,
only 29% mature compared to 66 percent on average. Sixty-five percent of the
crop is rated good to excellent
Soybeans dropping leaves reached 58% as of Sunday, well
behind last year and the average. Only one-percent of soybeans in South Dakota
were harvested, 18 percentage points behind the average. Sixty-one percent of
beans are good to excellent.
Winter wheat planted was just under 60%, behind last year
and the average somewhat.
