Pivot Bio, a Silicon Valley ag tech company, launched its alternative to synthetic nitrogen fertilizer this year. Mark Reisinger, senior director of commercial operations with the company, says Pivot Bio PROVEN has helped farmers in the challenging growing season.
“We’ve seen a tremendous amount of visual differences and it’s simply because it doesn’t leach and it’s a nitrogen product that delivers nearly 100 percent of the nitrogen or the ammonia that it produces to the plant,” he says.
