Farmers prepping equipment for spring fieldwork are being
reminded to place value in fuel and lubricants.
Mimi Falkman with CHS says the life-cycle of many implements has been extended because of the down farm economy.
“If a piece of equipment goes down, it’s a lot more expensive than the money that you’re putting into purchase a premium-quality product.”
She tells Brownfield there’s a lot to consider when trying to make equipment last longer.
