Farmers and ag retailers are bracing for another condensed
fall.
Jeff Moon with Corteva Agriscience says crops are behind, so the bulk of harvest will have to get done in October.
“That’s going to push back fall fieldwork, it’s going to push back some fertilizer applications (and) might make it difficult to get some of that stuff done this fall that you normally would.”
He tells Brownfield delays this past spring underscore the importance of fall fieldwork.
