USDA says there’s another confirmed case of highly pathogenic avian influenza in South Dakota.
The virus has affected another commercial turkey farm in Beadle County. That’s the second farm in that county that’s had confirmed HPAI this fall.
USDA says this season there have been 8 commercial turkey flocks and 321,300 birds affected by HPAI in South Dakota.
