A dairy economist says milk prices have improved, but the market still has some concerns. Mark Stephenson with the University of Wisconsin Center for Dairy Profitability tells Brownfield the milk price has come up about two dollars a hundredweight from last August, but he says, “The markets are kind of stalled right now. There’s this question about do we have enough? Do we have too little?”
Stephenson says he expects milk prices to eventually climb higher.
