President Trump
says the trade dispute with China will continue whether “it’s good or bad” for the
U.S. in the short term.
Speaking to
reporters Tuesday, Trump said it will help in the long term and that someone
had to address China’s unfair trading practices.
Trump said
China wants to make a deal, but any deal will have to be fair to the U.S. He
said he’s not worried that the dispute will lead to a recession.
