Trade momentum heading into 2020

A leader with the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association is pleased the U.S. has some trade momentum going into 2020. 

Southwest Minnesota farmer Krist Wollum, past president of the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association, says trade negotiations seem to be heading in the right direction.

“It is definitely a high note for us to end the year increasing our trade. Looking at China opening up trade, I think that maybe came about because of the other trade deals that happened with USMCA being (potentially) put into place and the trade deal with Japan happening.”
