Trump Administration moves to de-list gray wolf

President Trump has followed the previous two

Administrations by taking steps to remove the gray wolf from the Endangered

Species List.

American Farm Bureau director of congressional relations Ryan Yates says AFBF applauds the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announcement to de-list the wolf because the animal has successfully recovered.

“We are encouraged by the third administration in a row moving to remove the gray wolf. Unfortunately we’ve been here many times before, so we’re hoping that this time science and the rule of law can actually be upheld.”

Presidents Bush, Obama, and now Trump have moved to remove federal protections and release management of the gray wolf to individual states.
