Some Wisconsin farmers finished some fieldwork ahead of the cold and wet weekend weather. USDA reporters say there were four days suitable for fieldwork last week. Forty-one percent of the state reported surplus topsoil and subsoil moisture, and everywhere else had adequate moisture.
Several reporters say it was difficult to get equipment into
fields, and there were reports of cows sinking in pastures while grazing. In Rock County, there are reports of
equipment getting stuck on hills, and water running from places it never has.
