Wisconsin’s Governor Scott Walker directed State Ag Secretary Sheila Harsdorf and University of Wisconsin System President Ray Cross to create Dairy Task Force 2.0 to come up with recommendations to maintain a viable and profitable dairy industry in Wisconsin.
A similar task force was assembled in 1985. The new task force will be chaired by UW-Madison Director of Dairy Policy Mark Stephenson.
Walker says industry experts can work together to create real solutions to help farmers, processors, and allied organizations.
