Wisconsin student wins National FFA scholarship

A Wisconsin student is one of eight national winners of a one-thousand dollar scholarship from Syngenta and Crop Life America.

Flambeau High School graduate Katie Zimmer is now studying Agricultural Business and Agricultural Education at the University of Wisconsin River Falls.  She has already served an internship in commodity trading at Archer Daniels Midland, and her goal is to someday open an agri-tourism/agricultural education center.

The award was presented during the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.
