A violent incident occurred in southeast South Dakota, resulting in one man being hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and another man arrested.
The Yankton Police Department received a call around 1:15 a.m. reporting an injured and unconscious man in the 100 block of E 3rd Street.
Following the discovery of the victim, he was transported to a Sioux Falls hospital.
The victim’s identity and current condition remain undisclosed.
After an investigation, Yankton Police identified 23-year-old Caleb List as the alleged assailant and subsequently arrested him on charges of aggravated assault.
