Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash Near Worthing Under Investigation by South Dakota Highway Patrol

A tragic single-vehicle accident near Worthing, South Dakota, resulted in one fatality as a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban lost control on an icy stretch of Interstate 29 on Saturday morning around 9 am.

The 64-year-old backseat passenger succumbed to fatal injuries, while the 62-year-old driver and 79-year-old front-seat passenger sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation, and the identities of those involved have not been disclosed.
