California Inmate Sentenced to 33 Years in South Dakota Meth, Fentanyl, and Money Laundering Conspiracy

41-year-old Terry Morris Jr., already incarcerated in California, has been sentenced to more than 33 years in federal prison for his involvement in a Meth, Fentanyl, and Money Laundering Conspiracy in South Dakota.

Operating the drug trafficking ring from his prison cell, Morris communicated with individuals in South Dakota and California using a smuggled cell phone, facilitating drug sales in the Sioux Falls area.

Morris distributed over 200 pounds of meth and 80,000 fentanyl pills, sourced from Mexican cartels.

Four others, including two from Sioux Falls, have already been sentenced in connection to the case.
