A pursuit of a stolen 2014 Dodge Charger in Sioux City on Sunday night ended tragically as 24-year-old Gunnar Lee Kratz, the driver, refused to stop for police.
The pursuit through the west and north sides of the city concluded around 8 p.m. when Kratz lost control of the car and crashed in the 1700 block of Floyd Blvd.
The crash resulted in Kratz’s death, and the area remained closed for several hours.
