On Monday, just before 4:30 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of East 8th Street and North St. Paul Avenue in Sioux Falls following a collision involving a motorcycle.
The accident occurred when a blue SUV traveling south on St. Paul Avenue collided with an eastbound motorcycle.
Tragically, the adult male motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries and has not yet been identified.
The area around 8th and St. Paul was temporarily closed to facilitate the ongoing investigation of the incident.
