Over the weekend, a tragic UTV accident occurred in Stanley County, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old man and leaving three others injured.
The incident took place as the four men were riding a side-by-side vehicle through a pasture near Fort Pierre, and the UTV rolled over.
One of the occupants managed to call 911 for help, but they were unable to provide their exact location, leading to a nearly two-hour search effort.
The 18-year-old victim lost his life at the scene, while a 19-year-old man remains in critical condition.
Authorities are currently investigating the crash, including determining the driver and other pertinent details surrounding the incident.
