A man died from injuries sustained in a high-level fall in Deadwood early Saturday morning, April 13.
The incident was reported by his girlfriend, who alerted authorities when he did not return from downtown Deadwood.
The man was found along the west side of U.S. Hwy 85 and there were no signs of foul play.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident with assistance from the Deadwood Police Department.
