The Mitchell Police Department is seeking applications for both lateral (certified) and entry-level officers as it looks to expand its ranks.
The department is offering a starting wage of $30.52 per hour, along with South Dakota State Retirement, individual health insurance, night and weekend shift differential pay, officer-in-charge pay, and modern equipment and uniforms.
Officials say they are looking for candidates committed to professionalism, teamwork and serving the community.
