Rapid City Man Admits to Trafficking Enough Fentanyl to Cause Mass Casualties

Cory Croyle, a 37-year-old man from Rapid City, has signed documents indicating his intent to plead guilty to a federal drug charge.

Court documents reveal that Croyle obtained large quantities of fentanyl, sometimes from Colorado, and distributed them primarily in the Rapid City area.

While the exact amount is unspecified, it is estimated to be between just under a pound to two-and-a-half pounds.

Croyle faces a potential sentence of 10 years to life in prison.
