On Friday night at 10:30 p.m., Rapid City Police responded to an armed robbery at the Exxon Common Cents Store on North Lacrosse Street.
Witnesses reported a male entering the store with a firearm, demanding money, and then fleeing.
Through video footage, police obtained a search warrant for a local residence, where they apprehended the juvenile male responsible.
The suspect was found with the clothing worn during the robbery and the firearm used.
The juvenile has been detained and will face legal proceedings in the juvenile justice system.
