South Dakota HOSA Conference to Prepare Future Healthcare Professionals

The upcoming Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) conference in South Dakota is expected to attract 800 high school and college-aged students interested in healthcare careers.

HOSA is a career preparation program that offers students the opportunity to explore various healthcare professions through presentations, projects, and skills-based events.

According to Brock Rops, executive director of South Dakota’s HOSA chapter, the conference aims to prepare students for the realities of the healthcare field and build their confidence.

The event, scheduled for April 11 and 12 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, will also serve as a qualifier for the international HOSA conference in Houston, Texas.
